First test the hand structure

In RummyCircle's Pool Rummy, a valid declaration needs at least two sequences, one pure. A set of equal-ranked cards cannot replace the pure sequence. Find the pure sequence first, then the second, then account for remaining cards under the table's rules.

This is RummyCircle's version, not a universal rule for every card game in a broad category. The actual table may have different deck or wildcard conditions.

Then add the penalty

The named 101 and 201 Pool Rummy formats eliminate players at those cumulative penalty thresholds. Suppose a player has 97 penalty points and a hand adds 6. The total becomes 103: the 101 threshold has been reached, while 201 has not.

The six points are illustrative arithmetic; the named table's rules determine a real hand's penalty. A running total across hands is not a one-round stake or prize.

Do not mistake a multiplier for a score

In a Limbo-style round, a player selects a target multiplier before a generated result. At a hypothetical 2.1× target, 1.9× is below and 2.4× above. The comparison resets for the round; it is not a 101-point penalty accumulated across cards.

A fishing feature has another object again: FA CHAI's Monkey King Fishing page names a target and Dragon Ball Battle feature, but those names alone do not state shot cost or award. Read each format's own settlement rules.
